Want to collaborate on an email, leave comments and edit drafts before sending? This newly announced template for Google Docs allows you to draft your email in Docs and then press the Gmail button to send.
Simply type @email in Google Docs to get started.
How can this be used in School?
For Students - Students can draft emails, even if they don't have access to gmail - allowing them to learn about writing professional emails in a safe environment.
For Teachers - You can collaborate on emails, such as school newsletters before they are sent.

Note - This feature is still rolling out and may not be available to everyone until after 6th April 2022.
This feature will be available to all users of Google Workspace for Education.
