Using Google for Education in a Primary School setting?
Join us for a series of online webinars for teachers who are using G Suite and Google Classroom. These interactive sessions are delivered via Google Meet. You can book an individual webinar or join us for all four sessions. All of the webinars are recorded and video access will be available online for 90 days.
Monday 5th October

Join Katie Wells to explore the use of Google for Education (G Suite) to teach Humanities. Katie will be sharing tips and tools that you can easily use in your lessons when delivering remote or blended learning to students.
Katie has over 10 years experience of teaching full time in Key Stages 2-3 schools in the UK and South-East Asia. She has held numerous positions of responsibility including Head of Humanities, Digital Lead and is also currently an IT Champion for a Schools Trust. Katie’s role includes leading professional training of children and staff to enhance the successful provision of digital technology in lessons. She has extensive experience of working with iPads and Chromebooks in educational settings. Katie is a Certified Google Trainer.

Join Jess Marsh to explore the use of Google for Education (G Suite) to teach Literacy & English. Jess will be sharing tips and tools that you can easily use in your lessons when delivering remote or blended learning to students.
Jess is a Google Certified Innovator with more than 14 years’ experience educating students of all ages. She obtained a Master’s in Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology while working on a federal grant with her University of Southern California professors. Now she is an instructor for her alma mater, helping student teachers acquire their credentials and infuse technology in their classrooms. She has lived and worked in several schools worldwide as a teacher, coordinator and librarian. She’s conducted ICT, GATE and IB PYP professional development in the US, Italy, Germany and the UK. Meanwhile, Jessica has designed curriculum, presented at conferences and contributed to educational articles and textbooks published internationally. She believes teaching students literacy skills (of all types) is essential to promote lifelong learning.

Join Mia Pledger to explore the use of Google for Education (G Suite) to teach Computing. Mia will be sharing tips and tools that you can easily use in your lessons when delivering remote or blended learning to students.
Mia is a Google Certified Trainer and Learning Technologist at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College. She has been working in education for almost 10 years and has experience working with children and young people of all ages. Mia's passion for education technology began when she decided to specialise in Computing while training as a primary school teacher where she realised that coding and technology could be a vehicle for creativity. Now she is studying a Masters in Digital Education with a research interest in playful and game based learning and how this can promote motivation, resilience and a growth mindset. She is experienced in delivering creative technology training and developing learning resources using a variety if digital tools both of which are often inspired by her playful approach.

Join Cat Lamin to explore the use of Google for Education (G Suite) to teach Numeracy & Maths. Cat will be sharing tips and tools that you can easily use in your lessons when delivering remote or blended learning to students.
Cat is a former primary school teacher with 12 years of teaching experience. She has a passion for coding and computer science and specialises in supporting teachers who are getting started on their journey into using technology in the classroom. In 2017 Cat was shortlisted for the European Digital Woman of the Year award and has been invited to speak about her experiences teaching computer science around the world including in Brazil, Argentina and the US. She is passionate about talking about equality, stereotypes and mental health as well as supporting the teaching of computer science. Cat is a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, CAS master teacher and Google Certified Innovator.
